Bruges   -   day trip

Wednesday 13 June

There is so much to see in Bruges, we are giving you free time to do as you please.  The museums, shops, restaurants, pavement cafes, parks, swans, boats and horse-and-carriage rides will keep you amused for hours.  We can recommend a boat-trip with commentary as an excellent and relaxing way to see the most beautifully preserved medieval city in Europe.  As it will be an early start we are including fruit and a pastry with your tea, coffee or hot chocolate for breakfast en route to the Channel Tunnel.  Once on the train we will serve another hot drink with biscuits.  Some people choose to bring their own additional food on the coach there and back so there is more time free to explore the city when you are there.  Others like to spend a couple of hours in a restaurant.  Whatever your preference this early summer day in Bruges will be worth the trip.
