European society and culture changed dramatically in the mid-18th century.  It was the age of opportunity, enlightenment and innovation.  Hogarth is famous for paintings and prints that not only captured the new modern experience but also the materialism, exploitation and injustice.  This exhibition brings together for the first time Hogarth’s greatest works with those of Francesco Guardin in Vienna, Chardin in Paris and Cornelius Troost in Amsterdam.
