Blenheim Palace 17 - 18 November
& Living Crafts for Christmas
The Swan at Bibury AA Rosette
Enjoy Christmas shopping in style at Living Crafts for Christmas, a highlight of the year at Blenheim Palace. You can explore the Churchill and Marlborough Pavilions in front of the Palace, where over 180 British designer-makers will be showcasing contemporary crafts including ceramics, leather work, textile crafts, toys and puzzles, designer jewellery and many more. Festive aromas from the specialist food and drink producers in ‘Tastes of Christmas’ will tempt you with traditional Christmas treats and more unusual foodie ideas.
As well as enjoying the Christmas atmosphere at Blenheim Palace we will be staying overnight and enjoying dinner at one of our favourite hotels, The Swan at Bibury. The Swan is situated on the banks of the River Coln and this former Cotswold coaching inn is a lovely place for a peaceful pre-Christmas break. On our way home we will stop in Winchester with time to get lunch (cost of lunch not included) and to see the cathedral.
The Swan at Bibury lies on the banks of the enchanting River Coln. This former coaching inn is a great place to stay for a leisurely break. The hotel has 22 bedrooms, each individually designed with antique furniture and are very comfortable for an overnight stay. The Swan Brasserie has an AA Rosette for the quality of its food
