Cambridge is a fascinating place to visit.  Its history, university colleges, River Cam and individual shops make for a relaxing and atmospheric stay.  The Royal Cambridge Hotel is a convenient and comfortable place as our base from which to see Cambridge.  We arrive in time for you to go out to find lunch.  If  you are joining us for the concert you will need to have an early dinner before we meet at The Corn Exchange.  The concert, given by the European Union Chamber Orchestra, also features the 2016 BBC Young Musician of the Year playing Haydn’s Cello Concerto No 1.  For those not coming to the concert the rest of the day is yours to explore the city and have dinner.  The next day we will depart Cambridge after lunch

The Royal Cambridge Hotel is located on the edge of the city centre and is a good base from which to explore historic Cambridge. It is close to the Fitzwilliam Museum and within easy walking distance from the famous colleges such Kings, Queens and Corpus Christi.   The hotel does have its own restaurant but there are also several other restaurants close to the hotel.
