Cambridge in the Spring                3 days/ 2 nights               16 - 18 March 2021

Gonville Hotel, Cambridge

Cambridge is a fascinating place to visit with its history, university colleges and the River Cam.  At this time of year the college gardens should look lovely with daffodils, tulips and other Spring flowers. A  stroll along The Backs is, perhaps, the best way of seeing some of the colleges.  The Backs is a picturesque area to the east of Queen’s Road where several of the colleges back on to the River Cam, their grounds covering both banks of the river.  King’s College Chapel is considered one of the finest examples of late Perpendicular Gothic English architecture and its choir is known the world over.  For those who wish, a guided tour of Kings College Chapel and one of the colleges could be arranged (cost of the guided tour not included in tour price).
