The world’s original industrial revolution arose 300 years or so ago at Ironbridge. We will visit the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge and a selection of its museums including the Jackson Tile Museum, the George Museum and Blists Hill Victorian Town. There will be the opportunity to explore the atmosphere and historic towns of Shrewsbury and Ludlow. We are also including visits to the lovely Stokesay Castle and a ride on the Bridgenorth Cliff Railway, the oldest and steepest funicular railway in Britain, giving spectacular views over the Seven River Valley. These days out will showcase Shropshire’s beautiful countryside in all its glory. Fishmore Hall Hotel has 3 AA Rosettes for the quality of its food.
