Tenby is an historic walled seaside town on the west coast of Wales with a picturesque harbour and 12th century mediaeval walls including the Five Arches barbican gatehouse and the National Trust Tudor Merchant House. Our hotel is on the outskirts of Tenby. We will have a full day to visit The National Botanic Garden of Wales which is both a visitor centre and a centre for botanical research. The garden covers 568 acres of beautiful countryside and has Lord Fosters glasshouse as its centre piece. There is also the British Bird of Prey Centre, an array of themed gardens and a nature reserve - all set in a Regency landscape. There will be time to visit Tenby and to enjoy a scenic journey on one of the many scenic steam railways in Wales.
Heywood Spa Hotel is an elegant, comfortable family run hotel with a spa leisure suite and a very good reputation for its hospitality and food. Standing in one acre of grounds the hotel is just half a mile from Tenby’s golden beaches.
