These were the words of Queen Victoria after her first visit to Osborne on the Isle of Wight. The royal sea-side palace became home to the Queen, her beloved Prince Albert and their nine children.  On this day visit you can admire the stunning views from the terrace across the Solent and take an intimate glimpse into Queen Victoria’s family life as you see the nursery and private rooms. You can also go down to the private beach where they swam.  We take the ferry from Portsmouth and make the very short drive to Osborne where you will have plenty of time to see the grounds and beaches and have lunch (cost of lunch not included).
